message with 5,000 university students, 10,000 high
school students, 15,000 middle school students and 20,000
elementary school students.
- Share the ASAP message with 25,000 global citizens.
ASAP’s members are some the world’s most energetic, passionate
and caring individuals. As such, they are taking every
opportunity to share the ASAP message with those around them.
The ASAP
message is simply:
- Over 1/6 of humanity lives in extreme
poverty or on less than $1/day.
- The practical solutions and
interventions needed to eradicate extreme poverty by the year
2025 are currently available.
- Through the creativity of today’s
students and the generosity of global citizens, every
family can start on the path to economic self-reliance.
ASAP members bring this message to their families, friends, peers
and neighbors. As chapters and clubs, ASAP members bring the
message to elementary, middle and high schools, as well as other
universities. They share it with their local churches,
businesses and community members. They are committed to
building awareness of extreme poverty so that others may have
opportunities to overcome it.

Parbati and
her family (in the photo to the right) are one of many families
that is overcoming extreme poverty with the help of organizations
like Bandhan from India. Bandhan and other
ASAP
partners are pioneering an innovative program called
the Graduation
